Fire Services Officer Arthur Camarena has been in the fire service since 1980, working his way up to the rank of Captain before moving to Logistics in 2010. Art possesses state certifications as a FF I and FF II, Driver operator 1-A, 1-B, 1-C, and E.M.T-1 along with Fire Officer and Water Group Manager, and has attended Palomar, Rancho Santiago, and Miramar Colleges.
Arthur served as Logistics Officer with San Miguel Fire & Rescue from 2014 to 2022, helping with the Fire Blast training trailer, Facilities, Apparatus and supporting the District Operations Team with the Light and Air Rehab Unit. In 2022, his position was reclassified to Fire Services Officer.
Arthur also assists with Heartland Fire Academies, has been an active Reserve Company Officer with the Orange County Fire Authority since 1983, and has worked for Disney Fire Department and San Diego County Fire.
